So yes - Marty and I are incredibly fortunate to travel as much as we do; and we never want to lose sight of that little gem of knowledge.
Sorry, offspring - we are actively spending your inheritance. But look at it this way; we'll amuse ourselves with all the collective memories when we're in the old folks home, so visits won't have to be as frequent!
Friends query, "Italy again?", to which we shrug and offer, "Perche no??" Once bitten, as they say.
But wait --- now I have scientific data to back up my side of this love affair! Take a look...
See?? Or should I say-- Sì?? Yep, I'm a proud 30 percent-er, and I ain't lookin' back!
So off we go today, skipping through Atlanta as we voyage east to the mother-city Rome. But unlike Remulus and Romulus, we'll be tipping our jet-laggy hats a quick ciao and jumping the fast train to Venice, our address for the next week.
Besides the gondolas, views, St. Mark's square, etc. "Why a week?", you might ask. Per una settimana nella scoula di lingua italiana!! would be our resounding bi-lingual wannabe response!
Upholding the "old dogs, new tricks" philosophy, we're embarking on our second round of language school, but this round in the watery city of romance, Bella Venezia.
Come hang out with Marty and i (and occasionally some of our Italian friends) as we spend each day (at least until 1:15pm) as i studenti eccitati, then head out to explore and cozy up with our here-to-now formal acquaintance, Venice.
