Happy New Year!
That said, I've been uncomfortably absent from my blog -- all joyful reasons -- but my little writing muse is cross-armed-toe-tapping itself at me to "get busy"!
So I'm doing just that ... sort of... and guest posting a great little collection of tips for first-timers in Italy compiled by Valerie Quintanilla, a expat from Washington state who found her way to the Italian dream life (Italian ragazzo included) in the Piedmont region. I'm just a teeny tiny bit JEALOUS!!!!
This post covers 7 topics that could save the newbie a lot of frustration -- and maybe even a tad of embarrassment. Unless, of course, you enjoy things like impatient baristas, paying large Trenitalia fines, and being shocked when there ain't no Ranch dressing to be found.
And actually, I guess you could say I'm guest post guest posting since I actually found the article on another well done site, Browsing Italy - a lovely website designed to promote all-things-great about Italy.
Valerie writes a fun blog that's well worth a visit. I mean, really now.... someone who writes about wine AND bacon -- yes, paired -- gets high marks in my book!
So thanks, V-dawg (she said it first), for all you do. I'm still stinkin' jealous, though.
